Wood windows

Wood windows satisfy both the architectural purist and the realist. You get a carefree fiberglass exterior, plus the beauty of a wood interior. And we do mean beauty. Our windows feature furniture-grade, clear, vertical-grain Douglas fir. Without a nail hole or staple on them. What's more, since we use solid stainless steel screws throughout, there's nothing to corrode or rust. Ever. You can stain our wood interiors clear or finish them to match existing woodwork in everything from a maple to a cherry appearance.

Wood Windows are available in standard sizes, or custom made to the customer's precise measurements. A wide variety of designs is available, including casement, double-hung, sliding, awning, and picture window. Wood windows may be clad in aluminum or copper, to provide better weather protection and remove the need for painting. Aluminum clad wood windows are available in a range of colors. Glazing may be single or double, with Argon-filled space between the panes of glass. Tempered or laminated glass is available; this provides better protection against intruders and adverse weather.

Wood Windows Types

AWNING WINDOWS  CASEMENT WINDOWS  DOUBLE-HUNG WINDOWS
Wood Windows
Hinged on the top of the window, awnings tilt out to allow for ventilation even during bad weather. They make an ideal accent above or below a picture window and ara a graet way to let the fresh air in.
Casement Windows
Graceful styling and hight-tech engineering make casement a popular choice. Jamb hinges allow the window to completely open outward for maximum ventilation and possible egress.
Double hung windows
Double-hung windows offer all the elegance of years gone by. Tilt-in sashes make cleaning easy. This type of window provides a maximum face opening for ventilation of one-half the total window area.
GLIDING  PICTURE / FIXED  BAY WINDOWS
Wood Windows
A popula style for contem-porary homes. Horizontal sliders are typically used for bedrooms requiring egress.
Wood Windows
A perfect selection for view homes, picture windows make the most of your view. Want ventilation? Combine with other windows, such as awning windows, for lots of fresh air.
Bay Windows
Bay windows project out beyond your exterior wall to create the illusion of a bigger interior. Typically used as a focal point in more formal rooms, bays are available with or without optional casements or single-hung flankers for ventilation.
